Our first OverSized Pulley Wheel system was introduced into the market in 2016. First version was mostly made from alloy and 3K carbon, but soon we introduced carbon composite versions thanks to our developments in thermo-formed carbon composites. In 2020, we finally close the circle introducing the last step in the evolution of Ridea OSPW+ series: the EVO series.

We have completely redesigned both plates of the cage and replaced the 3K carbon material from the predecessor C series with the latest technology in thermo-formed carbon composite material from Ridea. This material allows us to increase or decrease the thickness of the plate where needed to make a more resistant system with an average weight reduction of 10 grams from the previous model. We have also integrated the pulley bearing shields in the plates to increase the clearance between the pulleys and the cogs. Additionally, the new road version accepts lower pulleys up to 22t, perfect for triathlon and TT bikes.

OSPW+ Evo series is available now for road bikes (E60) and mountain bikes (E48) for most of the rear derailleurs from recent years.
